STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve’s art community hosts its July 4th Friday Art Walk on July 28 from 6-9 p.m.
In the North Main Street Art and Entertainment District work by local artists Linda P. Smith and Iris Vincent will be featured at Music Art Love, along with live music by “Tim and The Price.”
There will be several new works on display across the street at E•KleK•Tix Gallery & Studio, along with artist J Rissover’s collection of paintings honoring Ste. Genevieve’s colonial history and lots of her popular miniature paintings.
Original art and jewelry and a lot more are featured at Only Child Originals and Rust, and visitors can create their own photo art at Masquerade…all in the 100 block of N. Main.
On the Courthouse Square Silver Sycamore Gallery reports its renovations “are only 90% complete,” owners say they’re “100% ready for everyone to come by and admire our elegant gallery and impressive artworks.” The gallery is located on the Courthouse Square.
The nearby Sainte Genevieve Art Center & Art Museum will be open featuring original art by Guild artists and member works donated for a Silent Art Auction being held in support of the completion of the Guild’s new public sculpture project.
On Merchant Street Brix Winery will be open with it’s display of the owners’ collection of contemporary art.
Other venues may also be open in the downtown district. Most Art Walk activities are free and open to everyone.
