Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest winners announced

STE. GENEVIEVE – The “Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest” is an art contest for students in grades 9-12,  It is sponsored by VFW Auxiliary 2210 at the local level.  This scholarship contest recognizes young artists and encourages patriotism in youth.  Entries are judged on originality of concept, presentation and patriotism expressed, content of how it relates to patriotism, clarity of ideas, design technique, and total impact of work.

 

The first, second, and third place winners all received cash prizes at the local level.  The first place entry completed by Ella Wolk was forwarded to district and state competition.  We are proud to announce that she received 2nd Place at the State level.  Quite an accomplishment!!!
