A funeral will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 for 93-year-old Jerome David Lipp of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at his home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
He was born May 22, 1930 in St. Mary, Mo.
He married Nellie (Varner) Lipp in January of 1999. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.
He is also survived by a son: Ronald (Brenda) Lipp of Sainte Genevieve, MO; four daughters: Judy (Bill) Naeger of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Sandy (Ken) Henson of Bloomsdale, Mo., Lisa (Bob) Cassidy of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Kelly (Ray) Walter of Arnold, Mo.; two stepsons: Mark (Jackey) Randol of Austin, Tex., James Randol of Jackson, Mo.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of their children: Betty Lipp; a son: Larry Lipp; his father: Edward Lipp; his mother: Mary Lipp; sister: Marcella Deuser; two brothers: Boniface F. Lipp and Norman Lipp; grandson: Nathan Stackle; granddaughter: Amber Bieser; two great-granddaughters: Adley Berkbigler and Brinly Rayoum.
Jerome retired from Mississippi Lime after 43 years of service.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and socializing with family and friends.
He lived life to the fullest and knew how to have a good time.
Jerome will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 93-year-old Jerome David Lipp of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8 at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Mitchell Baer will officiate.
Burial will follow at Valle Spring Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice.
