A funeral will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 for 72-year-old Sherry E. (Ochs) Morris of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at her residence.
She was born July 12, 1949, the daughter of Frederick “Fritz” Ochs and Catherine Bader who both preceded her in death.
She and William “Bud” A. Morris were married at Laguna Beach, Calif. August 2, 1968. He survives.
She is also survived by two daughters: Samatha (Charles) Ticer of Ste. Genevieve and Tonie (Manny) Reyna of Peoria, Arizona; two sons: William “Colt” (Kim) Morris of Royalton, Ill. and William “Wade” Morris of Peoria, Arizona; two brothers: Fred “Joe” (Mary) Ochs of St. Ann, Mo. and John (Phyllis) Ochs of Corsicana, Tex.; four sisters: Sue (Doug) Dunker of Perryville, Mo., Sharolyn Brown of Perryville, Mo., Sallie (Matt) Mapes of Garden City, Mo. and Shelley (Keith) Moeckel of Perryville, Mo.; 14 grandchildren: Derrick, Chauntel, Brandon, William “Dustin”, Maranda, William “Dominic”, William “Tyson”, Abagayle, Nicole, MyraAnn, Rebecca, Dalton, Rachel, William “Devin”, LaRay, Shelley; 19 great-grandchildren; and her best friend since kindergarten: Doris Gibbar Seabaugh.
She was also preceded in death by her brother: James Ochs.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and VFW Post #4282.
Sherry loved all animals especially her horses, dogs and cats.
She loved the outdoors and boating.
Most of all, she was a devoted wife to her husband and a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Visitation will be 8:30-9:40 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A memorial mass for 72-year-old Sherry E. (Ochs) Morris of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with the Rev. Ben Melaku C.M. officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to family use or Toys for Tots.
