PERRYVILLE – The Perry County Soil and Water Conservation District invites you to attend their “Women in Ag Tour” on Thursday, May 25th.
Pre-registered attendees will meet at the Robinson Event Center at 9:00 a.m. In the morning, there will be NRCS and SWCD presentations as well as a Rainfall Simulator/Soil Health Presentation.
After a delicious lunch and attendance prizes, attendees will drive to the Perryville Higher Education Center. While there, the Master Gardeners will showcase and discuss the native plantings they completed in and around the parking lot.
A Pollinator Habitat Planting completed on the Seminary grounds will also be toured and discussed.
There is a $15 registration fee for the tour (Checks payable to Perry SWCD). If you wish to attend, please register by contacting the Perry SWCD/NRCS office at 573-547-4077 Ext 3 with name(s) and phone number(s) by noon on Monday, May 22nd.
Registration fee can be dropped off at the office from 7:30-4, placed in the drop box by the front door or mail to SWCD, 1003 N Main, Perryville, MO 63775.
