Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial to host displays over Memorial Day Weekend

PERRYVILLE – Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial (MNVM) has been collecting tributes to and photos of deceased veterans. These will be on display in the large room of the museum throughout the Memorial Day weekend.

If you would like to recognize a veteran, download the form on MNVM website under the EVENTS tab or pick up one at the MNVM.

Forms must be dropped off or emailed before May 25th to be included in the display. Since our Vietnam Wall was erected, visitors have left tributes and mementoes along the Wall.

These items have been collected each week and stored. All items will be placed on display in the Welcome Center during Memorial Day weekend for visitors to see.

The Welcome Center and Military Museum will be open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. each day.

The MNVM will not be having a ceremony this year due to the displays, but encourages everyone to attend the Memorial Day Ceremony in downtown Perryville on the Courthouse lawn, Monday, May 29th at 10  a.m.
