Mobile Market provides food for the needy and hungry

CHESTER – The Chester Area Christian Food Pantry came to Chester April 26th

Volunteers from the April 2023 Chester Area Christian Food Pantry Mobile Market prepare to pass out two large crates of fresh mixed fruit and vegetables to clients. At the April Market clients received mixed fruit and vegetables, frozen chicken, milk, cookies, cereal, bar-b-cue, frozen pizzas, cream cheese spreads, ice cream, crackers, mixed bags of canned goods, and an assortment of ice cream bar treats. During April the Food Pantry served 215 households with 506 individuals. The Pantry is in need of donations of canned fruit, peanut butter and jelly. Monetary donations are also accepted to purchased items that are not donated. The next Mobile Market will be Wednesday May 24 at 8:30 a.m. at the Cohen Complex parking lot. Jim Beers Photo
