PERRYVILLE – Perryville High School will host most events for the graduating Class of 2023 on Friday, May 19. This is the first year that these events will be held in a single day.
“We have made this change at the request of our parents who love to attend their seniors’ special, and final, events,” said Principal Shadrick Shafer. “We wanted to make it easier for working parents to attend these milestone ceremonies, instead of asking them to take off multiple times.”
The schedule for the Class of 2023 on Friday, May 19 includes:
8:00 a.m. – Senior Breakfast – Cafeteria
8:45 a.m. – Senior Stroll – D32 Campus
9:45 a.m.-Senior Signing – PHS Gym
11:30 a.m. – Senior Picnic – Park
12:30 p.m. – Grad Practice – Perry Park Center
7:00 p.m. – Graduation – Perry Park Center
Graduation speakers will be announced May 12, along with the cum laude graduates.
Parents will be invited to that announcement if their students are included.
