CHESTER – Eleven students at Chester Grade School were presented with CGS Character Awards Friday April 14 for demonstrating the Character Trait of the Month, having good “Decision-Making Skills”.

Each student was recognized over the CGS Public Address System, and each was presented with a certificate.
The Character Education Program is coordinated by Cindy Ponder, school social worker from the Perandoe Special Education District. Ponder is assisted by Dr. James R. Beers, former District No. 139 Wellness Coordinator.
