CHESTER – Randolph County Sheriff Jarrod Peters has announced the arrest of 48-year-old Shawn A. Hagen of New Athens, Illinois.
Hagen is charged with Criminal Sexual Assault, a Class 1 Felony. Hagen is alleged to have committed a sexual act with a person at least 13 years of age but under 18 years of age in October of 2022 at a residence in Randolph County.
Randolph County Investigators located and arrested Hagen in Lenzburg, Illinois Tuesday afternoon.
Bond is set at $250,000.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
