STE. GENEVIEVE — Hailey Weibrecht is the November Rotary Student of the Month from Valle Catholic High School.
She is the daughter of Brian and Nichole Weibrecht.
Hailey describes herself as hardworking, good with children, mature, comfortable speaking in front of crowds, responsible, good with time management, seeks challenges reliable, multi-tasker and personable.
“I love being a leader, teaching little ones, and in my free time, spending time outdoors with my family and friends. Outside of high school athletics, I spend a lot of my time in the pool with the community’s swim team. I enjoy volunteering for school activities and taking part in any gatherings to help the community,” she said.
Academically, she has received several awards: Languages School Awards, High Honors Freshman-Senior Year, Perfect Attendance 2019-2020 school year, Top 20 in Class of 2022 Junior year, Academic All State athlete three years, All District and All Conference Volleyball teams, two time state medalist in track, two time state medalist in volleyball and most versatile runner award track 2019.
Her community awards include: two time AAU Junior Olympic swimming top 15 finalist, threetime AAU Junior Olympic qualifier, two time swimmer of the year award, freestyler of the year award, Women’s Club Banquet short story winner award.
Her future plans are to attend a community college and study exercise science, nutrition, and business management.
“I also plan to continue my volleyball career and hold a job throughout college,” she said.
