JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reports 2,470 new cases of COVID-19 in the seven days ending March 26 which is down 58 from the previous report.
Older persons had the highest number of new cases: 106 for those aged 85 and up and 66 for those aged 65-84.
There were 18 cases for those under 12 years of age.
There were 14 new cases among persons aged 12-17.
The other categories: 18-24: 32 new cases; 25-44: 38 new cases and 45-64: 43 new cases.
Ste. Genevieve County had fewer than 10 new cases.
Perry County had fewer than 10 new cases.
Jefferson County had 80 new cases.
St. Francois County had 42 new cases.
Madison County had fewer than 10 new cases.
Bollinger County had fewer than 10 new cases.
Cape Girardeau County had 39 new cases.
Ste. Genevieve, Perry, Jefferson, St. Francois and Cape Girardeau Counties were in the low community level category. Bollinger Coounty was in the medium community level category.
