STE. GENEVIEVE — A falling tree caused a power outage for an unreported number of Citizen Electric Members in an undisclosed location Friday morning.
Citizens Electric said in a statement posted on social media “outages in Ste. Genevieve County are due to a tree falling on (a) line and breaking equipment on the pole. Crews have been working to repair damage since 5 a.m. while accessing the pole in off road conditions.”
At 8:45 a.m., Citizens Electric reported the service had been restored.
