STE. GENEVIEVE – Operation Sand posted this message on its Facebook page after the group asked for residents to come to the state capitol Monday to show their support for a bill that would bar a sand mine in Ste. Genevieve County.
THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone who came to Jeff City today for the hearing! Turnout was tremendous! How inspiring that we couldn’t even fit all the supporters of HB982 into the hearing room! Our numbers spoke volumes! We will post any updates on the bill as soon as we can!
