SIKESTON – Contracts for improvements on Highway 32 in Ste. Genevieve County and Highway 51 in Perry County are among the projects approved at Wednesday’s Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission meeting.
A $16,705,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for resurfacing:
Route 32 from I-55 to Gerard Street in Ste. Genevieve,
Route 51 from near I-55 in Perry County to Route 72 in Bollinger County,
Route 32 from Route OO to I-55 in St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve counties,
Route C from Route 51 to Route A in Perry County, and;
Route D from Route Y to Route EE in St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve counties.
Addition of a center turn lane on Route 32 at the intersection of Route 32 and I-55 in Ste. Genevieve County,
Other improvements in the Southeast District:
A $1,134,786 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for a bridge rehabilitation on Route 67 over the Union Pacific Railroad and Koen Creek near Park Hills, Missouri in St. Francois County.
The bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
A $1,190,000 contract was awarded to Putz Construction, LLC, for erosion control repairs along various routes throughout the Southeast District.
A $1,967,242 contract was awarded to H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC, for grading and paving on various curves along Route K from Route 21 to Route 49 in Iron and Reynolds counties.
A $1,178,852 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for bridge replacements. The bridges are included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
The replacements include:
Route 153 over Taylor Slough near Kennett, in Dunklin County, and;
Route A over Drainage Ditch 72 near Bragg City in Pemiscot County.
A $561,149 contract was awarded to Missouri Petroleum Products Company, LLC, for scrub seals on:
Route A from Route 60 to Route 49 in Carter and Wayne counties, and;
Route 162 from Interstate 55 to Route M in New Madrid County.
A $885,863 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for a bridge deck and substructure replacement on Route J over Ditch No. 12 in Dunklin County.
A $114,535 contract was awarded to Strack Excavating, LLC, for bridge repairs on the Diversion Channel bridge on Route 25 in Cape Girardeau County.
