Two arrested in connection with UTV theft in rural Chester

CHESTER, Ill. – Randolph County, Illinois Sheriff Jarrod Peters has announced the arrest of two Marissa, Ill. residents in connection with the November 28, 2022 theft on Schwenk Road in rural Chester, Ill.

 

 

 

Authorities have charged 39-year-old Gary Fuller and 39-year-old Sarah Fuller with one count of burglary each.

 

The Fullers are charged with stealing a John Deere UTV and a number of other items.

 

Investigators were able to develop a lead at a home in Kennett, Mo. and reached out for assistance from deputies with the Dunklin Co., Mo. Sheriff’s Office. Dunklin Co. authorities successfully recovered the stolen UTV at the home in Kennett. Investigators were then able to link the Fullers to the actual theft.

 

Investigators obtained arrest warrants for both Gary and Sarah Fuller, who later surrendered to Randolph County authorities on January 23rd. They posted a 10 percent bond later that day.

 

A third suspect has been identified, but not yet arrested.
