Lucas Kunce on Josh Hawley ignoring the House GOP’s jumbo-sized national sales tax: Put down the pornography

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – On Thursday, Marine veteran Lucas Kunce is slamming Josh Hawley for his obsession with pornography, a fixation so consuming that it has even kept Josh silent on Republicans’ plan to institute a 30 percent national sales tax on every single Missourian.

“I get Josh Hawley is hyper-focused on pornography, but if this banker’s son gave a damn about the working class, he’d call the House proposal for a new 30% sales tax exactly what it is: Armed robbery against the American people,” said Kunce. “Look, I grew up in a working-class neighborhood in the middle of Missouri. My family lived paycheck-to-paycheck. And when my sister was born with a heart condition, the medical bills bankrupted us. We only got by because of the support offered by our friends and neighbors — people who were often no better off than we were. The idea of not just us, but everyone in our community having to pay 30% more on nearly everything they buy, while corporate executives and Wall Street bankers get a tax cut…There’s no better word for it than theft.

“Josh Hawley doesn’t care about working people. He doesn’t care about Missourians who grew up like I did. Seems like the only thing the man cares about right now is pornography.”
