JEFFERSON CITY — A 75-year-old Ste. Genevieve man escaped injury in a traffic crash on Highway 77 in Scott County Tuesday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Joseph A Siebert was the driver of an east bound 2000 Sterling Conventional.
The patrol report says the crash happened when Siebert attempted to make a left turn and drove into the path of a westbound 2012 Ford Escape driven by 57-year-old Belinda R. Tetley of Chaffee. She suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau by ambulance.
The crash happened about 8:19 a.m. a half-mile east of Benton.
Siebert was buckled up but Tetley was not.
