PERRYVILLE – Perry County Sheriff Gary Schaaf reported the arrest of the elusive 29-year-old John Huckstep of Perryville who authorities have been looking for recently.
Schaaf says Huckstep was finally taken into custody after a short foot pursuit Monday morning on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a theft/stealing charge.
After being taken into custody, Huckstep was found to be in possession of illegal drugs.
He is also being charged with delivery of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
Huckstep is being held at the Perry County Jail pending warrants.
