STE. GENEVIEVE — Historical Ste. Genevieve, Missouri will be celebrating its 38th annual Holiday Christmas Festival this Saturday and Sunday.
Always a picturesque site, quaint and charming Ste. Genevieve is especially magical during the holidays. Along with one of the largest parades in Missouri, no other culture has so many wonderful multiple concerts in a two-day period.
Culturally rich music will be performed throughout the historic district in decorated churches and historic buildings: violins, cellos, a string quartet, a pipe organist, a Celtic harpist, a Latino jazz band, a contemporary smooth jazz saxophonist, alternative country, traditional country, classic guitar, acoustic guitar, historic French singers, French café music, madrigal singers, chamber singers, pop rock, a symphonic wind ensemble, a steel drum band, and more.
The Lions Park will serve free hot dogs for kids 12 and under and have free photos with Santa. There are free crafts for children, a free magical show, a tree trimming, an Art Guild show, and a craft fair show.
What’s new this year?
As of December 2021, Governor Mike Parson declared that AAA recognized Ste. Genevieve as one of the top two Christmas towns in the Midwest – and 2022 will be even better!
