STE. GENEVIEVE — It has been reported that Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is experiencing increased traffic and wait time at its walk in clinics.
Hospital officials posted this message to its social media: “As we continue working to decrease wait times and increase patient safety at the Bloomsdale and Plaza Walk-in Clinics, we want to encourage patients to call to schedule an appointment. This request is in response to an increase in flu and RSV cases.”
The message went on to say that patients who walk in will not be turned away but may have a longer wait or may be asked to schedule a time to be seen.
It asked patients to call the Bloomsdale Walk-in at 573-483-2929 or the Plaza Walk-in at 573-883-4408.
The message concluded with “We appreciate our patients and community. Remember, the best way to help fight infection is proper hand washing.”
