A funeral will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 for 72-year-old Thomas Joseph Buerck of Perryville who passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at his residence.
He was born February 11, 1950 in Cape Girardeau, a son of Rudolph and Bertha (Baer) Buerck.
Thomas married Eunice Stueve September 8, 1973 at Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown, Mo., she survives.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
He worked as a Plant Utility Technician at P & G.
Thomas was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville and American Legion Post No. 133.
Survivors also include four sons: Brent (Chrissy) Buerck, Bradley (Amy) Buerck, Brock (Sarah) Buerck, and Brandon (Kelly) Buerck; a sister-in-law: Nelda Buerck; three sisters: Bernetta Buchheit, Birdella Schnurbusch, and Stella Prevallet; four brothers: Eugene (Carol) Buerck, Robert (Jean) Buerck, Jerome (Inez) Buerck, Roger (Rhonda) Buerck; 10 grandchildren: Jack, Sam, Alex, Josh, Max, Eli, Gus, Sky, Arlo and Grey Buerck.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Glennon Buerck and Rudolph Buerck, Jr.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Visitation will continue from 9-10 a.m. Monday, November, 21, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
A funeral for 72-year-old Thomas Joseph Buerck will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville with the Rev. Joseph Schlie officiating.
Millitary honors will be provided by the American Legion Post No. 133 and the Delta Team.
Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Longtown.
Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran School or Saxony Lutheran High School.
