PERRYVILLE – The St. Vincent High School Elks Student of the Month Award goes to Jacob Hennemann for the month of October.

Jacob is the son of Jim and Sarah Hennemann of Perryville.

He is a four-year member of band and attended Missouri Boys State. Jacob has many service hours helping at parish events and is an Altar Server for Mass.

John McClain, Jacob’s calculus teacher, states, “Jacob is a tremendously gifted student with a special ability to see and understand concepts at a deep level. However, what has always impressed me about Jacob is his character. He treats his teachers and peers with incredible respect and is looked up to by classmates as a leader and role model.
