JEFFERSON CITY — A 29-year-old Bismarck woman died in a traffic crash on Route J in Perry County Sunday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Morgan L. Kemp was pronounced at the scene by Perry County Coroner William Bohnert.
According to the patrol’s report Kemp was the driver of an eastbound 2002 Oldsmobile Alero which failed to negotiate a curve to the left. Kemp hit the brakes and the car skidded off the right side of the road, struck a road sign and traveled down a steep embankment and struck a tree.
The crash happened about 4:55 p.m. near Perry County Road 724.
