A funeral will be held Saturday for 39-year-old Christopher D. Boland of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022.
He was born June 27, 1983 in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Chris and Dawn M. Chappius were married October 8, 2011 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Survivors include his wife: Dawn M. Boland of Perryville; father and step-mother: Dale E. and Tammie Boland of Perryville; his brother: Cody Boland of Arcadia, Mo.; his stepbrother: Andrew Welsh of Perryville; father-in-law and step mother-in-law: Jim and Mary Chappius of Perryville; mother in-law: Donna Chappius of Perryville; three sisters-in-law: Jen Chappius of Barnhart, and Stephanie (Eddy) Stewart and Michelle (Delbert) Riehn both of Perryville; two brothers-in-law: Jeremy (Miranda) Chappius and Brent (Jody) Bohnert, both of Perryville; a nephew: Bryce Stewart; four nieces: Brittanie Stewart, Bailey Winkler, Lyza Chappius and Lexi Chappius and numerous uncles, aunts and friends.
He was preceded in death by his godmother: Barb Aurich; uncle: Franklin Boland, Jr.; and paternal grandparents: Franklin and Evelyn Boland Sr.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, River Hills Eagles Aerie No. 4034 in Perryville, Steel Workers Union Local 169 G and he was a bagger at Mississippi Lime Co. in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
Chris loved his nieces and nephew and enjoyed hunting, shooting matches and spending time with his three dogs, Boomer, Buster and Sophia.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2022 and 7-9 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 39-year-old Christopher D. Boland of Perryville will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Deacon Direk Hunt officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
