JEFFERSON CITY — Two St. Mary residents were hurt, one of them seriously, in a motorcycle crash on Route H in Perry County Friday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 28-year-old Cody S. Myers suffered serious injuries and was taken to SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital by AirEvac helicopter and 37-year-old Lauren M. Ross suffered moderate injuries and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center by Perry County EMS.
The patrol’s report says the crash happened when a westbound 2004 Honda VTX1300 driven by Myers, ran off the right side of the road and struck a ditch. Ross had been a passenger on the vehicle.
The crash happened about 9:30 p.m. west of Route N.
The Honda was a total loss and was removed by Perry County Towing.
