STE. GENEVIEVE – Local businesses are invited to participate in the 2022-2023 College & Career Information Event at the SGHS Peggy J. Johnson Gymnasium on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022. The school will hold two sessions, one for students during the school day, and one for families that afternoon during Parent/Teacher Conferences:

  • Set-Up for Colleges & Businesses: 11 a.m.
  • Student Session: 11:50 a.m.
  • Families Session: 1:30 – 4 p.m.

“While many of our students go on to college or to join the military after graduation, we also have a good percentage of students who immediately join the workforce, building their skill sets as they go, and creating a career in this way,” high school counselor Russ Toombs said. “We are always looking for ways to show our students all of the opportunities afforded to them.”

Businesses interested in participating are encouraged to contact Stephanie Brumfield in the high school’s counseling office at 573-883-4500 ext. 2104 or at sbrumfield@sgdragons.org.

In order to protect the gymnasium floor, school officials asks that participants refrain from wearing heels.
