A funeral will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 for 65-year-old Stephen E. Meyer of Sainte Genevieve who passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
He was born September 29, 1956 in Perryville, Mo.
He is survived by: two daughters: Sara (Nathan) Lorenz of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Tina (Kyle) Schuessler of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; son: Daniel (Lindsey) Meyer of Hernando, Miss.; mother: Florence (Schwent) Meyer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; three brothers: Gene (Vicki) Meyer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Bob (Mary) Meyer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Kevin (Lori) Meyer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; three sisters: Glenda (Paul) Stolzer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Diane (Gary) Mueller of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Clarita (Bruce) Hayes of Saint Charles, Mo.; and grandchildren: Parker, Peyton, Aurora and Ella Grace.
He was preceded in death by his father: Glennon Meyer; and a sister: Donna Meyer.
Visitation will be 9-11:30 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 65-year-old Stephen E. Meyer of Sainte Genevieve will be held at 12 noon Friday, September 9, 2022 at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale. The Rev. Michael Benz will officiate.

Steve was a man of many talents. He loved cracking jokes, hunting, singing and playing his guitar. He enjoyed woodworking and refurbishing old tractors. Most of all Steve loved his family, children and grandchildren.
