JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Are you interested in camping, but don’t know where to start? Do you want to sleep under the stars, but aren’t sure what to sleep on? Do you constantly crave s’mores, but feel overwhelmed by the thought of building a fire? Join other inexperienced campers from 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 to noon Sunday, Sept. 18, at Robertsville State Park for an overnight camping experience. Here you will learn the basics about camping equipment, outdoor cooking, fire building and more from Missouri State Parks team members.
The event is limited to 30 participants and registration is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, no exceptions. The recommended age for participants is six and older, and adults should be responsible for no more than three children at a time.

Robertsville State Park is located 8 miles east of I-44 on Route O, near Roberstville.
