JEFFERSON CITY — A 17-year-old Patton boy suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash on Highway 51 in Perry County Wednesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the youth was taken to Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville by a Perry County ambulance.
The patrol says the crash happened when the 1995 Jeep Wrangler the youth was driving slowed to make a left turn and was struck in the rear by a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 72-year-old Sandra Hoehn of Farmington. She was not injured.
The patrol says the crash happened about 3:50 p.m. 73 feet south of Perry County Road 712.
The patrol reports the youth was buckled up, but Hoehn was not.
