JEFFERSON CITY — A 22-year-old man from Dyersburg, Tennessee suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash while being pursued on Perry County Road 816 by Perry County Sheriff’s deputies.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Deon R. Thompson was taken to Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.
The patrol says Thompson was the driver of a southbound 2013 Dodge Charger, during a pursuit by deputies when the car ran off the right side of the road on a curve and struck a tree.
The patrol says Thompson was unrestrained and had no insurance.
The crash happened about 4 p.m. Saturday west of Perry County Road 806.
