STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Board of Aldermen will meet in special session Thursday at 6 p.m.
One item is on the agenda for the special meeting, a $36,659 addition to the Fourth Street repaving contract already awarded to Bauman Contracting to fix the ponding problem on North Fourth Street between LeCompte and Washington Street.

City Administrator Happy Welch says the additional money will do some major work on the east side with the sidewalk (on the left in the photo) and the west side with the asphalt and a couple of retaining walls (on the right side in the photo).
The measure is on the agenda for both first and second readings.
