New COVID-19 cases fall four percent in Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY — The number of new COVID-19 cases has fallen slightly in Missouri.

 

The CDC reports the number of new confirmed and probable cases in Missouri for the past seven days was 13,181, down 536 from the previous week’s 13,717 a four percent decline from the previous week’s increase.

 

There were 21 new COVID-19 cases last week in Ste. Genevieve County, a 60 percent decline from the 54 recorded the previous week.

 

There were 36 new cases in Perry County which is down 33 percent from the 54 new cases reported last week.

 

St. Francois County had 195 new COVID-19 cases in the past seven days. Cape Girardeau had 199 new cases. Bollinger County had 13. Jefferson County had 526.
