STE. GENEVIEVE — Summer construction is underway in Ste. Genevieve so a city official says expect possible traffic delays and detours while workers continue street replacement on Parkwood Dr., waterline replacement on N. 4th St., and water main work on N. Main at North Gabouri Creek.
This was the scene last night at Fourth and Roberts Streets, as traffic was detoured one block over to Third Street. The scene was similar at Fourth and LaHaye.
“These improvements will secure our water main infrastructure for the homes north of N. Gabouri Creek and smooth out some rough roads when completed,” a city official stated.
The official added that the city, CE Contracting, and Vern Bauman Construction appreciate your patience.
