PERRYVILLE — Perryville sales tax revenue is up so far this calendar year.
The Missouri Department of Revenue transferred the April revenue to the city’s accounts at the Bank of Missouri earlier this month.
The April proceeds totaled $135,983.92, which is down about $32,297.22 from April of last year, but the year to date figure is still up from 2021.
For the first four months of year, the city received $636,202.32, which is up $18,029.20 from the first four months of 2021.
The city has two other sales taxes, which followed the pattern of the one percent tax.
The city also collects what is called a consolidated city use tax. It has brought in $192,836.36 so far this year, which is an increase of $42,961.81 over the first four months of 2021.
