PERRYVILLE—As the storms passed through Perry County Saturday afternoon, the Perry County Sheriff’s Office received reports of storm damage, possibly from tornadoes, in two different areas of the county.
No injuries were reported, but building damage was reported on PCR 806, near the path of the last tornado that hit Perryville, and also near Routes C and E in Perry County where a barn was damaged, certain farm equipment was strewn across a field and an electric pole was snapped off.
“We haven’t been able to confirm a tornado in either location as yet, and Emergency Management personnel are in contact with the National Weather Service at this time,” the sheriff’s office reported.
