A funeral will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 for 80-year-old Kenneth J. Dauster of Perryville, Missouri being a child of God passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at his residence.
He was born January 23, 1942 in St Louis, Mo. to Elmer H. Dauster and Alma Faye Golden who both preceded him in death.
He and Doris M. Reiss were married June 19, 1965 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno.
He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard.
Survivors include two daughters: Beverly Dauster of Perryville and Robin (Bill) Brickhaus of Perryville; two sons: Duane Dauster of Longtown and Jason (Lola) Dauster of Perryville; two brothers: John (Cheryl) Graff of the state of Florida, Ronnie (Mara) Graff of the state of Illinois; two sisters: Barb Hood of St Louis, Vanessa (Mike) Ebner of the Texas; grandchildren: Drew (Cheyenne), Chase, Landen, Logan (Heather), Dylan (Katie), Megan (Doug), Kaleb, Austin, Nathan, Lola, Kaitlyn, Bradley (Courtney), Jordan, Ashlyn, and Lydia; Great Grandchildren include Elizabeth Grace, Astraea, Laci, Hunter, Jacob, Conner, Olivia, Nia, Zane, Killian and Nolen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Elmer L. Dauster, Edward Dauster and Landon Key; and one sister: Margie Thornberry.
He retired from Chester Mental Health Center as security therapy aide.
Kenneth was a member of the Cape County Cowboy Church, former member of the Perry County Sportsman Club, member of the American Legion Post No. 133, and Amvets Post No. 94.
He enjoyed trains, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 29 and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, April 30 from a.m at Ford and Young Funeral Home.
A funeral service for 80-year-old Kenneth J. Dauster of Perryville will be held Saturday April 30 at 11 a.m. at Ford and Young Funeral Home with Brother Jim Matthews, officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
