PERRYVILLE — The 29th Annual Perryville Garden Club will hold its annual Mayfest Plant Sale on Friday, May 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 7 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Faherty House at 11 S. Spring in Perryville, Mo.
Members have been working for months preparing and raising plants for this community event.
Locally grown plants include annuals, perennials, houseplants, hybrids, natives, vegetable plants and much much more.
This year, two free presentations will be held at the sale.
The first on Friday, May 7, at 1:30 p.m., Vennie Leuckel will present “Herbs and How We Can Use Them”. She will also have a tea-tasting of some of the blends.
The second will be Saturday May 7, at 11 a.m., Anna Brown will present “How to Take Care of Daylilies and Irises”.
She will explain how to take care of these plants when you get them home.
