Norma Jean Ullman

A funeral will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 for 68-year-old Norma Jean Ullman of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

 

She was born August 6, 1953 in Ste. Genevieve, County the daughter of Charles Walter and Viola Margaret (Porter) McClure who both preceded her in death.

 

She married Frankie Karl Ullman October 13, 1972.

 

Survivors include two daughters: Jackie (Christopher) Salger of Evansville, Ill. and Nichola (Rocky) Hendrix of Perryville, Mo.; a son: Frankie (Katrina) Ullman II of St. Mary, Mo.; three sisters: Wanda Vaughn of St. Mary, Mo., Rosalie (Larry) Theiret of Perryville, Mo., and Nancy (Roy) Schmidt of Perryville, Mo.; 14 grandchildren: Dustin (Tarina), Vicky, Misty and Christopher (Paige) Salger II, Elizabeth Ullman,Whittany, Sabrina, Hannah and Hailey Hendrix, Kile, Allana, Frankie III., Charles and Eleanor Ullman; and 12 great grandchildren.

 

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, William, Donnie, Kenny and Terry McClure; and a brother-in-law: Jerry Vaughn.

 

She was baptized in the Catholic faith.

 

She was a factory technician at TG-USA in Perryville.

 

Norma Jean liked volunteering and cooking for the St. Mary Fire Department at its annual BBQs.

 

She loved the outdoors and taking care of neighborhood critters from skunks to deer.

 

She loved bird watching, especially humming birds.

Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

 

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, May 1 and 8-9:30 a.m. Monday May 2, 2022 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

 

Rosary will be prayed at 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home.

 

A funeral mass for 68-year-old Norma Jean Ullman of Perryville will be celebrated at 10 a.m. May 2, 2022 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Perryville with Fr. Ronald Ramson, C.M. officiating.

 

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

 

Memorial contributions may be given to Multiple Myeloma Foundation or American Diabetes Association.
