A funeral will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022 for 92-year-old Delavina Loida of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., who passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022 in Sainte Genevieve.
She was born December 14, 1929 in River Aux Vases, Mo., the daughter of Joseph Schweigert and Viola (Rigdon) Schweigert, who both preceded her in death.
She married Ralph “Nick” Loida on August 28, 1948. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters: Sandra (Bob) Koller of Sainte Genevieve, Debbie (Tom) Naeger of Sainte Genevieve, and Cindy (Kenneth) Bauman of Sainte Genevieve; grandchildren: Gretchen (Darrin) Jacob, Erica Naeger and Amanda (Ian) Stallman, Nathan (Melania) Bauman, Lacey (Tim) O’Keefe, Gabrielle (Jeff) Beauchamp; Great-Grandchildren, Noah, Ciara, Jordan, Abigail, Ethan, Karleigh, Kinsley, Barrett, Jace, Xavier, Kolby, Jamison; a sister-in-law: Mildred Basler; and many family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by: three brothers, Wesley Schweigert, Leslie Schweigert, Leroy Schweigert; Two Sisters, Devota Buckholtz, Leota Ziegler;
Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 9-11 a.m.
Service will be at Basler Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Edward Nemeth will officiate.
Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

Delavina loved camping, fishing, dancing, and playing games with family and friends. She enjoyed getting together with the family.
