A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022 for 78-year-old Catherine Laneva Hamlett of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital.
She was born November 4, 1943 in Dry Bones, Mo. to Albert Joseph Horrell Sr. and Maggie Myrtle Jaco, who both preceded her in death.
She was married to Harold Hamlett. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a brother: Albert Joseph Horrell, Jr. of Fenton, Mo.; two sisters: Delphia Gertrude Jannin and Ruth Ann Horrell, both of Perryville.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Hill & Melba Brewer.
She was a short order cook.
She was a member of the Christian faith.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m., with the Rev. David Hewkin officiating.
Burial will be at Home Cemetery in Perryville, Mo.
