ST. LOUIS – Kit Bond, former U.S. Senator and Governor from Missouri, has endorsed Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler for U.S. Senate.
“Missourians deserve a senator who knows how to get things done. Vicky has shown during her time in public office that she is a fighter for our armed forces and a fighter for Missouri families,” said Senator Bond. “That’s why she has my full confidence and endorsement to be the next U.S. Senator from Missouri.”
Senator Bond served four terms in the U.S. Senate, after previously serving as Governor of Missouri where he was first elected in 1972 at the age of 33 as the youngest governor in Missouri history. In the Senate, Bond was vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee and a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee. As governor, Bond expanded the Parents as Teacher program and restored fiscal responsibility to state budgeting year after year.
“I’m incredibly honored to have the support and confidence of Senator Bond. He’s been a champion for our state and the hardworking people who call Missouri home for decades forging a legacy of getting things done and standing for what is right,” said Hartzler. “Our campaign is about saving the heart and soul of this country and it’s a blessing to have Kit partner with me in this fight.”
Hartzler has also received endorsements from U.S. Senators Josh Hawley, Joni Ernst, Roger Marshall, and Deb Fischer. Other endorsements include Susan B. Anthony List, Maggie’s List, Penny Nance, Eric Metaxas, VIEW PAC, David Barton, Jenna Ellis, and Tony Perkins.”
