STE. GENEVIEVE—Valle Catholic Schools inducted students into the National Honor Society (NHS) and the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) this semester.
The four pillars of NHS membership include scholarship, service, leadership and character. NJHS also includes the pillar of citizenship.
Membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but also challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service. The ceremonies were held in the Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church.
Newly inducted NHS members include:
Megan Barnes, Rachel Blum, Riley Brown, Braden Coleman, Kayleigh Donze, Clayton Drury, Kristen Drury, Sam Drury, Chase Fallert, Josef Flieg, Joseph Flieg, Brandon Giesler, Matthew Hoog, Katie Kertz, Olivia Linderer (not pictured), Luke McClure, Callee Naeger, August Palmer, Isaac Roth, Peter Roth, Nathan Schwent, Sophia Varga, Hailey Weibrecht. Ella Wolk, Macy Wolk
They join current members Camryn Basler, Ella Bertram, Mackenzie Carron, Isabelle Fallert, Ashlyn Klump, Samantha Loida, Abigail Marzuco, Reese Metzger and Mia Weiler, along with moderator Nathan Gegg.
NJHS welcomed the following new members:
Annie Heberlie, Sam Kuehn, Grayson McGowan, Payton Naeger, Lauren Schilly, Sydney Wilkerson
They join current members Mackenzie Buchheit, Emma Gegg, Drake Meyer, Riley Werner and moderator Elizabeth Bertrand.
