STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Rotary Club recently made a donation to the Ste. Genevieve Reading Express, an organization that the club has supported for years.
Jared Richardson and Jamie Ballew, Rotary president-elect, recently presented a check to Reading Express president Melissa Otto (center).
Reading Express provides age-appropriate books to children, newborn to five years of age free of charge.
This valuable service, open to Ste. Genevieve residents, costs approximately $500 per month and is funded solely by contributions.
“Literacy is one of Rotary’s Six Areas of Focus, so we’re happy that the Ste. Genevieve Reading Express is a strong, vibrant chapter,” said Jared Richardson, Rotary Club president.
