STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve R-II Preschool opened its doors seven years ago along with Bloomsdale Preschool with the hopes of reaching more children within the county and providing them with a high quality preschool experience before entering Kindergarten.
Today’s fifth graders, who were yesterday’s preschoolers were back in preschool recently for a visit.
We couldn’t imagine then how the need for preschool and childcare in the county would become so needed as it is today.
The eight students pictured, now fifth graders, were among the first SG Lil’ Dragons class.
We were excited to have them read some of their favorite picture books to our current students.
There was a lot of reminiscing and laughs about that first year of Ste. Genevieve Preschool.
