CHESTER – Chester’s Lady Jacket Basketball standout Alyssa Seymour (44) was named the MVP of the 2022 Southern Illinois Lions Club Classic All Star game.

The 43rd Annual event was hosted at Rend Lake College Friday March 25 and Seymour helped the “Purple Team” win ,78-67, over the “Gold Team.”
In the win Seymour led her squad in scoring with10 points during her 10-minute playing time. All of her points came under the basket by rebounding her teammates missed shots and putting them back up for “put-back’ baskets.
Seymour was coached this year by Clint Cowan, Chester High School Lady Jacket Head Coach.
