PHS wins SEMO Soccer Tourney

The Pirates won the championship game 3-2 over St. Vincent.

Perryville scored one goal in the first period and two in the second.

Brooklyn Moll was in goal and recorded nine saves.

Perryville’s goals were scored by Carlie Holdman, Ashlyn Rodewald and Kyla Schnurbusch.

Assists were recorded by Alyssa King, Ana Moll, and Schnurbusch.

Earlier Perryville defeated Cape Central 3-1 to improve to 2-0. The Pirates scored all three goals in the second period.

Brooklyn Moll was in goal for Perryville. She had four saves.

Kyla Schnurbusch scored two goals and one assist and Alyssa King had one goal and one assist. Carlie Holdman also scored an assist.

With the wins, Perryville improves to 3-0. St. Vincent fell to 0-1.

Next up for the Pirates, a trip to Farmington today. JV at 5 p.m and varsity at 6:30.

The Indians host Hillsboro today at 5 p.m.
