Freddy James Mock

A funeral will be held at a later date for 69-year-old Freddy James Mock of Houston, Texas who passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. at the home of his sister, Karen Moser.

He was born July 20, 1952 in Houston, Texas, the son of Eugene Mock and Emasue Mock who both preceded him in death.

He married Debbie (Cummings) Mock on February 22, 1985. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by two daughters: Melanie Soule of Houston, Texas, and Kendra Mock of Austin, Texas; three sons: Raymond Mock of Sainte Genevieve, Andrew (Helena) Soule of Houston, Texas, and Douglas Mock of Houston, Texas; three sisters: Karen Moser of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Marilyn Bennet of St. Marys, Georgia, and Brenda Campbell of Houston, Tex.; and a brother: David Mock of Houston, Tex.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter: Misty Mock; a grandson: Michael Cassell; and a niece: Marsha Werner of Perryville, Mo.

Services will be held at a later date in Houston, Tex.

Freddy was a man of many talents. He served his country proudly in the Army, during the Vietnam War. He was a professional baseball player for the Chicago White Sox Farm League, a sports announcer, stockbroker, and more.

He moved to Sainte Genevieve to spend his retirement with his sister Karen Moser.
