Ernie Weiler called the regular meeting to order at 5:15 p.m.

TREASURER’S REPORT
The utilities are $12,000 over for the year. Building maintenance is up due to extras that was
done during the House 3 build. There was extra cost in moving generators. We also had two
generators being repaired this year.

Trucks & Equipment
8967 was involved in a minor fender bender. We lightly rear-ended a car which produced only a
scratch. The people in the car did go to the hospital. A claim was turned into the insurance.

Zello is still not working. Radio guy is going to stop by.
House Updates
The HVAC has been replaced at House 1. The floor is getting replaced at House 2 this week by
Busenbark. It has been prepaid.
Equipment Sale
We will list the old trailblazer and the lawn equipment up for auction. It will be listed in Ste
Genevieve Herald as well as Facebook. We will hopefully have it concluded by the next board
meeting.
Insurance
A motion was made to change the deductible on the liability insurance from $1,000 to $5,000.

We have hired a PRN EMT full-time starting in November. He will have his medic license
soon. There is also a full-time resignation of an EMT effective 11/1/26. He will stay PRN.
We are interviewing four medics next week to improve the PRN list and to have future full-time
candidates.

8977 is leaving in November or December to get remounted. The one remount is in the budget.
The next remount will be scheduled in the next budget year.
2026-27 Budget
A motion was made to amend the budget and give the employees a 5% pay increase with the 20
cent step raise as well as to increase the holiday pay to $300.
