SGHS Spanish III Students Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

(Ste. Genevieve, MO) – Ste. Genevieve High School Spanish III students recently traveled to The Sheldon in St. Louis with Spanish teacher Mrs. Teresa Caba to experience a performance of Hispanic dances in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Throughout the performance, students experienced music and dances representing Hispanic cultures while also learning about the traditions and cultural significance connected to the countries highlighted.

The field trip gave students an opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom and experience aspects of Hispanic culture through music, dance and storytelling.

Students enjoyed being part of the celebration and came away from the experience with a greater understanding and appreciation of Hispanic Heritage Month and the cultures it recognizes.
